Bathroom Remodeling Chesterfield, MI
Chesterfield bathroom remodeling, tub-to-shower conversions, and shower replacements by our own installers
Close to half of Chesterfield Township homes went up in the 1990s and 2000s, and many still have the builder tub, a tiled shower with a bench, or a fiberglass surround. We turn those tubs into walk-in showers, replace tiled showers and tubs, and remodel full bathrooms. Our own crew handles it, start to finish.

A Canyon frameless sliding door in 3/8-inch glass closes it in. A new 48-inch Merillat vanity in Shale sits under a 50-inch Carrera Pro Stone top with an integrated bowl.

A Tiled Shower With a Bench Becomes Pro Stone
The tiled shower walls and bench, the shower door, the vanity top, and the tile floor came out. A 43 1/2-inch Moonscape Pro Stone top with a wave bowl and a white 16 by 16-inch floor finished the room.

A Master Bath With the Drop-In Tub Taken Out
Just over the township line in New Baltimore, this master bathroom had a drop-in jetted tub using the best floor space. We gutted the room, took out the tub for a larger custom vanity along the angled walls with a two-bowl Pro Stone top, enlarged the neo-angle shower with City Gray Pro Stone walls and a wave seat, and finished it with frameless 3/8-inch heavy glass.

What Chesterfield Bathrooms Usually Need
Chesterfield Township grew fast from the 1970s on. About two-thirds of homes are detached houses, plus a good share of condos, and many bathrooms still have their original tub, tiled shower, and vanity.
Census estimates put the median year built for a Chesterfield Township home at 1994, newer than the Macomb County figure of 1975. Close to half of homes went up in the 1990s and 2000s, and about 3 in 10 in the 1970s and 1980s. About 64% are detached single-family houses, about 14% are attached condos and townhomes, and about 82% are owner-occupied.
In homes this age we often find builder tubs with tile or fiberglass surrounds, tiled showers with built-in benches, and vanities that are too small for the room. In their place go walk-in showers, new tubs, and grout-free Pro Stone cultured marble walls. For planning numbers, see typical bathroom remodeling costs.

Yes. Near 23 Mile and Callens, we took out a tiled shower with a built-in bench and put in a 60 by 34 1/2-inch Pro Stone pan, Tender Gray subway-pattern walls up to the soffit, and a Pro Stone corner seat, so there is no grout to clean. -
