Bathroom remodeling in Brighton, Michigan by Home Pro USA

Bathroom Remodeling Brighton, MI

Brighton bathroom remodeling, walk-in showers, and tub-to-shower conversions by our own installers

Most homes in the City of Brighton and Brighton Township went up between the 1970s and the 2000s, and many bathrooms still have the original tub, shower, and tile. We build new Pro Stone showers, turn tubs into walk-in showers, and remodel full bathrooms. Our own crew handles it, start to finish.

Brighton Homes

What Brighton Bathrooms Usually Need

The Brighton area mixes the small City of Brighton, with its condos and older homes near downtown, and Brighton Township, almost all single-family houses. We work in both.

A new medicine cabinet is an easy add-on to a vanity or shower update.

Census estimates put the median year built at 1986 for both the City of Brighton and Brighton Township, a little older than the Livingston County figure of 1991. In the city, about 19% of homes went up in the 1970s, 18% in the 1980s, and 18% in the 1990s, and about 15% are attached condos and townhomes. In the township, about 92% are detached houses and about 95% are owner-occupied.

In these homes we often find original tubs and showers, tile set over wire mesh, and basement bathrooms with a tub on a cement slab. In their place go walk-in showers, new tubs, and grout-free Pro Stone cultured marble walls. For planning numbers, see typical bathroom remodeling costs.

  • Showers: rebuilt with a made-to-measure Pro Stone pan and walls, as near Rickett Road and Grand River
  • Basement bathrooms: the old tub turned into a walk-in shower on the slab, as in Hamburg Township
  • Vanity tops: matched to the shower walls, as near Spencer Road and Buno
  • Every home: a written, all-in price after we measure, covering materials, labor, haul-away, and cleanup

Brighton FAQs

Brighton Bathroom Remodeling Questions

Straight answers, drawn from bathrooms we have remodeled in Brighton.

  • How long does a bathroom remodel take in Brighton?
Tub-to-shower conversions and tub replacements with Pro Stone walls take 2-4 working days. Full remodels take 5-10 working days, depending on scope. The shower near Spencer Road and Buno took 3 working days, and we tell you the schedule up front.
  • Can you remodel a basement bathroom on a cement slab?
Yes. In Hamburg Township, near Winans Lake and Chilson, the basement tub sat on a cement slab. The plumbing there does not come from above, so we kept the existing plumbing wall and built the new Pro Stone shower, with a wave corner seat, around it.
  • Can you build a small shower with no curb?
Yes. In Brighton Township, we built a 29 3/4 by 31 3/4-inch Tender Gray Pro Stone shower with no curb, walls 86 inches tall, two corner shelves, and a clear glass door, plus a 33 1/2-inch Tender Gray top with an undermount sink.
  • Can the vanity top match the shower walls?
Yes. Pro Stone tops come in the same colors as the walls. Near Spencer Road and Buno, the top matches the Slate shower walls, and in Hamburg Township, the 52-inch top matches the Carrera walls.
  • Do you work in both the City of Brighton and Brighton Township?
Yes. We work in the City of Brighton and Brighton Township, in the 48114 and 48116 ZIP codes, and in nearby Hamburg, Genoa, and Green Oak townships.
  • Do you come out to Brighton from Center Line?
Yes. Our own crews have installed bathrooms in the City of Brighton, Brighton Township, and Hamburg Township. We measure in your home and bring samples with us.
  • Are estimates free, and do you offer financing?
Yes. The in-home consultation and written estimate cost nothing, and financing options are available. For planning numbers before we visit, see our Metro Detroit bathroom remodeling cost guide.
