Master Bathroom Remodel in South Lyon

A South Lyon master bathroom remodel. The drop-in tub came out for a 71-inch Juno freestanding tub. We removed a wall to let more light into the shower, enlarged that shower, and added a Pro Stone bench seat. The vanity stayed in the same layout with new Merillat cabinets in Steel Gray. The double mirrors and double light fixtures were customer-supplied.

The Job

A Larger Shower and a Freestanding Tub

This South Lyon master bathroom had a drop-in tub and a fiberglass shower. We removed the drop-in and installed a 71-inch Juno freestanding tub. We also removed a wall to bring light into the shower, then enlarged it with Slate Pro Stone walls, a bench seat, and a sliding glass door. Pro Stone wainscoting finishes the window wall, around a new double-hung window with a Pro Stone stool.

The vanity stayed in the same layout. We replaced the cabinets with Merillat Classic maple in Steel Gray with Glen Arbor doors, under a Pro Stone 505 Slate top with two trimline bowls and Delta Lahara faucets. The double mirrors and double light fixtures were customer-supplied. The room also got new plank flooring, a new toilet, and LED ceiling lights on a dimmer.
