A Jetted Shower Stall Becomes a Wider Walk-In Shower
The fiberglass shower stall with jets came out, and we widened the shower to 69 inches. We framed a new insulated wall on one side to keep the pipes from freezing and moved the drain to the center. The new 69 by 32-inch Pewter Pro Stone pan in a hexagon pattern has a 70-inch one-piece curb, textured large subway-pattern walls, a wave corner seat, two corner shelves, and a grab bar, with a Delta Lahara shower fixture and a new exhaust fan with a light.
