Tub and Walk-In Shower Remodel in Ann Arbor
Two bathrooms in this Ann Arbor home were redone in one project. Downstairs, an almond steel tub and beige tile gave way to a new white tub with Pure White Pro Stone walls. Upstairs, an old fiberglass stall became a white Pro Stone walk-in shower with a wave seat and a rain glass door. The home is near Jackson Road and Zeeb Road.
The Job
Two Bathrooms, One Project
This Ann Arbor home had two bathrooms redone in one project, a tub bath on the first floor and a shower bath upstairs. Both rooms kept their layouts, vanities, toilets, and floors. Only the tub and shower areas were replaced.
In the first-floor bathroom, the almond steel tub and its beige wall tile, set in mortar over wire, came out. A new 60 by 30-inch white tub went in, insulated with spray foam, with Pure White Pro Stone walls in a gloss subway pattern and a smooth Pure White ceiling panel over the tub. A Delta Lahara tub and shower fixture in chrome finished it.
Upstairs, we removed the fiberglass shower base, the tile walls, and the framed sliding glass doors. The new shower sits on a custom 48 by 38-inch white Pro Stone pan with a 50-inch one-piece curb. White subway-pattern Pro Stone walls run up to a smooth ceiling panel, with a wave seat and a grab bar. A Delta Linden 2-in-1 shower and a 48-inch Arizona sliding door in 1/4-inch rain glass with brushed nickel trim completed the room.
Jason and Cameron remodeled both bathrooms in 4 working days, and Larry was the product specialist. This is one Home Pro USA project in Ann Arbor, near Jackson Road and Zeeb Road. Nearby work is on our Ypsilanti and Saline pages.
