Bathroom Remodeling Monroe, MI
Monroe bathroom remodeling, walk-in showers, and walk-in tubs by our own installers
Many homes in the City of Monroe went up before 1960, and the townships around it filled in from the 1970s on, so plenty of bathrooms still have the original tub, shower, and tile. We build new Pro Stone showers, install walk-in tubs, turn tubs into walk-in showers, and remodel full bathrooms. Our own crew handles it, start to finish.

One room got a 60 by 29-inch white Pro Stone shower with Mink Onyx walls and a corner caddy, a Ralston maple vanity in Toffee with a Pro Stone top, new wiring for a light over the vanity, and a Kohler toilet. The other got a 48 by 33-inch shower with Natural Slate walls, a Ralston maple vanity in Graphite with a matching Slate top, and a Kohler toilet. Both got new 12 by 24-inch floors on new subfloors.

What Monroe Bathrooms Usually Need
The Monroe area mixes the City of Monroe, with many older homes near downtown, and Monroe and Raisinville townships, mostly single-family houses. We work in all three.
Census estimates put the median year built at 1953 in the City of Monroe, older than the Monroe County figure of 1974. In the city, about 33% of homes went up before 1940 and 17% in the 1950s, and about 72% are detached houses. Nearby, the median is 1979 in Monroe Township and 1978 in Raisinville Township.
In these homes we often find original tubs, fiberglass surrounds, one bathroom serving a whole family, and floors that need a new subfloor. In their place go walk-in showers, new tubs, and grout-free Pro Stone cultured marble walls. For planning numbers, see typical bathroom remodeling costs.
