Tub-to-Shower Conversion and New Floor in Ypsilanti Township
The old tub and tile came out for a Tender Grey Pro Stone walk-in shower with a matte black sliding door. A new light gray tile floor replaced the blue and white tile. The homeowners kept their double vanity. Near Hitchingham Road.
The Job
An Old Tub Out, a Tender Grey Shower In
This Ypsilanti Township bathroom had an old tub with beige tile walls and a blue and white diamond-pattern tile floor. The plan was a walk-in shower and a new floor, while the gray double vanity, its top and faucets, the mirror, and the lights all stayed.
The tub and its tile walls came out. The new shower sits on a 32 by 60-inch solid white Pro Stone base made to measure, with a 60-inch Tender Grey curb. Tender Grey Pro Stone walls 89 inches high, in a smooth gloss finish, cover all three sides, and a matching Tender Grey panel closes in the shower ceiling. Two Pro Stone corner shelves, a matte black grab bar, a matte black shower head and trim, and a 60-inch clear sliding glass door in matte black finish it.
Outside the shower, a new light gray marble-look tile floor replaced the blue and white tile, with a Pro Stone threshold at the doorway.
Adam and Dave finished the job in 5 working days, and Kevin was the product specialist. This is one Home Pro USA project in Ypsilanti Township. More local work is on our Ypsilanti bathroom remodeling page, and the rest of the county is on our Washtenaw County page.
