A jetted tub behind a framed glass door came out of this bathroom in Roseville. A Madrid Pro Stone walk-in shower with a built-in bench, grab bars, and a matte black sliding door went in, along with a new vanity top, a Kohler toilet, and Armstrong Alterna flooring. The Job

A Jetted Tub Out, a Walk-In Shower With a Bench In

This bathroom in Roseville had a jetted tub behind a framed glass door, an old one-piece vanity top with a ledge over the toilet, and a tile floor. The jetted tub and its surround, the vanity top, the toilet, and the floor came out. The white vanity cabinet was taken out and reinstalled, and the medicine cabinet and the wall cabinet over the toilet stayed.

In the tub space we built a walk-in shower on a custom 60 by 29 1/2-inch Madrid Pro Stone base with a one-piece curb. Madrid Pro Stone walls in a gloss finish surround a built-in Pro Stone bench and two corner soap dishes. A matte black shower and grab bars finish the inside. A clear sliding door with a matte black frame closes it in.

The reinstalled vanity carries a new 57-inch Madrid Pro Stone top with a two-tone wave bowl, an extension over the toilet in place of the old ledge, and a Delta Ashlyn faucet in matte black. A Kohler Highline Arc toilet and Armstrong Alterna flooring in Coffee Milk, 12 by 24 inches, with a white threshold, finish the room.
