The Job

Jetted Tub Out, Wider Shower and Freestanding Tub In

This Taylor master bathroom had a drop-in jetted tub with a tiled deck, a tiled shower with gold-framed doors, and a long white vanity under a wall-wide mirror. All of it came out. We widened the shower opening and built an Italian White Pro Stone walk-in shower with a built-in bench. Two niches, corner shelves, and a chrome sliding door finish it.

A 59-inch freestanding soaking tub went in under the shuttered windows. The new vanity wall is Merillat Classic maple in Steel Grey, with two vanities, two tall linen cabinets, and a cabinet over the toilet. A long Pro Stone top matches the shower. Armstrong Alterna flooring, a heated towel rack, and a shower barre finish the room. Painting was done by the homeowner after we finished.

Our own crew installed it in 11 working days, and Kevin was the product specialist. This is one Home Pro USA project in Taylor, near Pardee Road and Northline Road.
